I have had the opportunity to work with Julie McKnight/ Blinded By Delight twice in the last two years. The first time was with the installation of shutters for our new home. This went flawlessly and the shutters are just perfect. After living in the home for two years I called Julie back to discuss our windows that faced the backyard as we had left them unadorned....Julie came to our home and I explained my vision for the windows in our living area and breakfast nook. Julie graciously and tactfully pointed out that what I had in mind would not work for the space - simply because there was not enough room....I could see that she was right so it was back to the drawing board. Julie suggested simple cornice boards as an accent for the windows and to enhance the wall space.....With a cooperative effort between Julie, myself and my husband we picked the perfect fabric...They are now installed and are perfect for the space! The cornices were a solution for the windows that I would never have thought of on my own. Thank you Julie and Blinded by Delight!!

From a detailed first meeting with shop owner to follow-up appointments with the designer both in the gallery and in my home, we were offered many options, they were accommodating to our style changes, and upon completion all choices were exactly perfect in style and function. Their attention to detail and measurement/installation surpasses my experience in other homes.
